This is a campsite - although a nice campsite and very prettily situated - but nothing more than a campsite/holiday park. The cabins are very small (the photos make them look bigger), and our one was very poorly heated with just one small heatpump, no insulation, and thin blankets. When, after a cold first night, we asked for some more blankets as any normal person would, we were corrected on our manners by the proprietor, which took us quite aback and was very inappropriate. Furthermore, an explanation was sought of us as to why the blankets provided were not sufficient. We'd never experienced anything like it before. We did get two new blankets, however, which we were grateful for. The campsite is also a bit 'death by signs' - the proprietors seem to enjoy putting up multi-coloured signs everywhere telling you what 'happy campers' do and how they do it. Having a spa on-site is nice – it was pleasant to make use of it after a day's skiing; and, while it is a bit small, the drying room is very good. However, due to rudeness by the proprietor and seemingly simple requests appearing to be somewhat of a burden for him, the small cabin size and its coldness, we would not like to stay at Mt Beauty Holiday Centre again.
