6/10 Good

Having stayed here before, we elected to stop on our way to Grand Canyon. Had a good off season rate and last stay was in the warm months. Room was as expected, a little dated, but clean except for food left in refrigerator. Biggest issue was the heat was supplied by AC typ heater and it would only stay on for a few minutes before kicking off with a. Period after which it would not start again. The room stayed pretty cold. Parking a 24 ft RV was easy, Location is well suited for a walk to dining or grocery store. Nothing really would keep me from staying again at a good price.

The rooms are nicely arranged with an added table and chairs (comfortable). The beds are comfortable, toilet/shower area is a bit small but functional. I like the wood paneling and decor. Pleasant place to stay even though you’re just off highway 191. You’re within walking distance to restaurants and the grocery store if you so choose. Nice place and staff.

10 minutes from Arches, nice older hotel.
Good beds, pretty clean for older facility, friendly and quick check-in, nice area, and great restaurant next door to motel (Moab Grill). We had breakfast and dinner at this restaurant; service was quick and all the food we had was absolutely delicious.

We stayed here to visit Canyonland and Arches Nation Parks. It's about a 30 minute drive to Canyonland (also Dead Horse Point SP), and a 5 minutes drive to Arches. The hotel was very convenient for this trip. The check-in was easy and the staff was very friendly (24 hr staff). There is a restaurant adjacent to the front office that had good food for a good price. There were also many restaurants and shops within a few blocks. Moab is a very nice town - seemed like a ski town. Nice to walk around and visit the many shops. There are many eating options as well. The motel and room decor were a little dated, but that was no problem. We spent all day each day outside. I would definitely stay here again when we visit Moab.
