Check in was awful. The receptionist was full of self-importance.
Never before have i had to scan my card in case i trash the place. Room had been booked and paid for in advance. I was asked to swipe my card. I asked why and was met with "it's company policy". I asked what it was for, as I had aleady paid in full. All the receptionist would say is its company poilcy. Pointed at a poster. I asked again, saying what it was needed for, to get the same company policy reply. She then started highlighting a section on the paperwork and almost threw it back at me. It stated the card swipe was incase they needed to deep clean my room or if trashed it. I asked why she couldnt just tell me this, as I would have understood, but she was rude in her reply. I took photos of a damaged door, in case they try to charge me!
The room itself was a supposedly accessible room. The beds were far too high. Anyone in a wheelchair wiuld be unable to transfer. The beds were on wheels, which meant the bed moved away when I tryed to get on it. This was very unsafe.
Only thing accessible was it was close to ths front door.
Oh, and none of the doors are automatic, so manoeuvring with a small luggage bag and a walking stick was difficult - and that was just getting in the building, let alone the corridor to my room.
