This hotel was clean, quiet and in a great location near a train stop and just across the street from a 7-11 for all the snacking needs we had! Great bookstore around the corner too.

Good reasonable family friendly Kyoto hotel
Good central location near Karasuma Oike station. Room with 4 beds made traveling with 2 teens easy. The beds were reasonably comfortable, not rock hard. Breakfast was pricy but good pastries and a good mix of western and Japanese options. Good service, clean quiet room with adequate space, and easy check in and out.

Pretty hotel and really enjoyed our room fitting 3 beds. Under bed storage available too. Onsen vanity area was great with skincare and amenities. Only thing is that there is no screen cast or steaming on the tv.

Nice property. Simple yet nice. But the staff put it over the top. They were super helpful. They made it worth while to stay there compared to somewhere else.

This is the second time I have stayed here visiting family. Overall nice property but there was an issue with guests from Mainland China. They were loud, drunk, rude, and made thenstay less enjoyable. This hotel should review it's travel partners and better vet the groups coming in. The area is good but too many Gaijin tourists who are ruining Kyoto with there boorish behavior. I feel sorry for the locals.

Great staff! Nice hotel. A little dated but I would totally stay here again. Only negative is CNN. Ironically it's the channel before the Chinese propaganda network CCTV.
