I don’t even know where to begin. I had high hopes for this hotel based on the positive reviews, but our experience was extremely disappointing.
When we arrived, there was no one at the front desk, so we had to wait outside until someone finally checked us in. Felicia was attentive, which we appreciated. However, our first room had a strong smoke odor, though they did accommodate us with a different one. The second room was in good condition.
Unfortunately, things only got worse. At midnight, the smoke alarm went off, and we had to wait about an hour before we could return to our room. The most unsettling part of our stay, though, happened at around 4 a.m. when someone attempted to enter our room. Just seconds after knocking, they used a key to try to open the door. My husband and I were terrified. We have no idea who it was or how they had access, but this is absolutely unacceptable.
We had an early morning ahead, but after all of this, we barely got any sleep. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel stays we’ve ever had.
