8/10 Very Good

This is a really nice hotel in a peaceful and beautiful location, bus access to the village or there’s easy parking at the hotel if you drive. The buffet breakfast was excellent and included a hot cooked to order eggs and bacon if you want it. Gardens and pool are very nice. Rooms are very clean and modern. Staff are friendly and helpful.

6/10 Good

We had chosen this hotel based on it having a restaurant, as we knew it was a more remote location and would help us not having to drive to other areas to find one. When we arrived, we were told it had closed a month ago but no-one had communicated that to us. Luckily we had a car but it was annoying to have to drive to find somewhere to eat in the evening. The hotel itself is pleasant, very quiet and is a good base (if you have a car) for Eze village and nearby towns.

2/10 Poor

My recent stay at The Eze Hermitage was a horrifying ordeal that should serve as a stark warning to anyone considering booking a stay there. The nightmare began with the absence of air conditioning in our room, which forced us to leave the balcony door of our second floor room slightly ajar for ventilation. This lack of comfort turned into a catastrophic lapse in security when an intruder managed to climb up onto our balcony and break into our room. We woke up to find the man crawling into our room and stealing $400 worth of our belongings. To add insult to injury, when we rushed downstairs for assistance, we discovered that the front desk was deserted and there was no night security, contrary to what the management had claimed. We were left to fend for ourselves in a distressing situation that could have easily been avoided with proper safety measures. Clearly, we found another hotel for the second night of our trip, as staying at The Eze Hermitage was no longer an option. Despite the severity of the incident, the inn demonstrated a shocking lack of accountability and customer service. After enduring a week of fruitless back-and-forth communications, they made a great show of their so-called "generosity" for not charging us for the second night we didn't stay and grudgingly offered only a partial refund for the one night, which does nothing to compensate for the trauma and financial loss we suffered. In summary, The Eze Hermitage exemplifies negligence and poor service.

Beautiful property and great service
The property is in a good location, a short drive away from Eze village and boasts gorgeous gardens and a pool. The room was comfortable and the balcony was spacious. The service was excellent and we enjoyed the breakfast. Only minus was the fact we kept getting mosquitoes (we assume from the vent) and had to kill 12 over one night which kept us up until midnight.

8/10 Very Good

Our short 4 day stay at the Eze Hermitage was an enjoyable time. The staff were very helpful and managed to educate us on the super bus service that ran from just outside the hotel, whereby you can get to Èze Village, Nice & Monaco for €1.74 a trip using the Lignes D’Azur app and card system (thank you staff). The bus is essential for non car drivers as the hotel is someway out of town, on the edge of the beautiful national park(fabulous walks and views on the doorstep). The gardens of the hotel are beautifully planted and maintained and a pleasure to sit in, the swimming pool in the garden is also beautifully clean and well maintained albeit unheated. Our bedroom was small but comfortable and clean with a well appointed and clean bathroom. The only disappointment with the Hotel being that the restaurant has been closed down and no food could be purchased(other than breakfast). This made life a little awkward and a shame, especially as we had planned to eat at the restaurant, having read some good reviews about it. It would have been useful to know in advance from either the Hotel or Expedia that the restaurant was not available. Would we go back for another stay - almost definitely.
