A great, affoesable Venice stay
Although the hotel is just a 2 star rating, i have stayed in way worse hotels over the years rated much higher.
Villa Rosa is located down a small alleyway and offer great value for money. Our room was not big, but it was clearly modernized with a great shower and solid bedroom. With a location close to the train station it is extremely convenient in terms of getting to and from, and Venice being a confusing and overwhelming city, this is an amazing feature. Staff were extremely kind, helpful and attentive during out stay, going out of the way to help when there was a booking issue beforehand.
Only downsides are small, we couls have uses a fridge and trashcan in the room (there is a small trashcan in the bathroom, but it was quickly filled with water bottles and similar items), and while the breakfast is lovely to be included, it left a little to be desired from my personal tastes, but it was decent enough.
