Not worth it/Disappointed
Not worth it. Several featured amenities were unavailable and in some cases the service left a lot to be desired. The coffee shop/snack bar in the lobby was closed the entire weekend we were there and it only opened on Monday, as we were leaving. Most hotels now at least have a snack shop that is available, even if unattended but this one was completely locked up. The parking is in a garage so if you're vehicle is too tall, they may not be able to accommodate you. Room service was unavailable in the middle of the day on a Sunday. The attendant who answered just said they weren't open and then hung up. I then went to the bar to order food and asked if they could call when it was ready as my partner was sick and he didn't want to have to come downstairs multiple times to check. The bartender apologized several times and said that she could not. When I asked why (maybe policy or something?), she said it was because she didn't know how to call the hotel rooms. Mind you, this is the restaurant embedded within the hotel. Oh and also there was a protest outside on Sunday morning and from what I gathered it was because the hotel serves fois gras. I am glad I learned this, as it's just one more reason I won't be staying here again.
