The room was definitely not worth the price.
I was placed in the "house next door" to the main entrance/reception, on the third floor and it had no elevator. The windows in my room were definitely not air tight. Quite the opposite. I had to put the heating on in both the room and its tiny bathroom. Even then, I could feel the cold wind blowing from the windows. Granted it was windy, but this is Iceland, in October may I add, and it just needs to be air tight. Especially for those prices for a single-bed room in this hotel. The room had a smell to it from the moment I stepped in. Come to find out the smell increased every time the hot water was turned on. The soap dispenser in the bathroom did not work. And the room did not necessarily look clean due to its deteriorating decor and exteriour - especially in the bathroom. Also, you could hear everything else going on in the entire building. I have stayed in better hotels in Iceland for the same price and with the same amount of stars, previously. I would not stay here again nor do I recommend for others to do so.
