This was a great choice for attending CES because it's across from the MGM, where the CES bus shuttle has one of its stops. The rooms cost far less than nearby others, with rooms that were just fine with comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, sufficient shower pressure, a small fridge and microwave and safe, and easy access to the strip and other attractions. I've spent much more for much less. Only one elevator was working, but it was staffed 24/7 and used efficiently by friendly folks while the others were being repaired (they said). // The only real problem for me was not reserving it with hotels.com and initially booking with algotels.com, because Algotels cancelled the earlier paid-for reservation (without sending me an email, text, or phone call) so that I arrived and the Oyo Hotel had to tell me that it had been cancelled. Upon phoning Algotels, they took the facts, told me that someone from Algotels would call me within the hour (during which I wandered around outside - cold and dark - with my luggage), and they never called me. I decided to rebook it with hotels.com after nothing was heard in 90 minutes, walked back in, and was told that I had 2 bookings - which meant that Algotels had reactivated the booking without calling, texting, or emailing me. Called Algotels later asking for a refund for that original reservation, and they said they would have to "negotiate with the hotel" about this. I haven't heard anything yet. The moral is: Don't use Algotels again.
