Unfortunately we were very disappointed about the hotel.
The room had some troubles:
1. the doors to the closet were very difficult to open, and it had a flickering light (annoying during nighttime)
2. You could hear a deep buzzing sound in our room all the time, which was very annoying and making it hard to sleep.
3. Weird decorations, with a large chunky chair in front of the safe. This means it was pretty much inaccessible.
4. We ordered room with view of lake. They gave us a room on the first floor, with a very steep viewing angle. We didn't enjoy that view at all.
The day for our checkout we had not put the "do not disturb"-sign on the door (did not expect cleaning on this day!). This meant the cleaning-lady knocked on our door a single time around 8.30, before she entered very fast and without giving us a chance to answer first. That is inexcusable!
Most of the elements of the breakfast were in a really poor quality. You can get much better quality, if you go to the local supermarket. We came from another much cheaper hotel in Ljubljana, where we got much better quality breakfast.
The hotel is owned by a company which apparently owns many hotels in the Bled area. If you want to support smaller hotels or live in a place with charm, find another hotel.
To sum: they try to make the hotel look good and professional, but as soon you have stayed a few days, it is very clear it is not. This hotel might be okay for families with children, but certainly not for couples.
