If you are considering Residence Inn - please, do yourself a favor, look elsewhere. I hesitate to write reviews, but I really wish I would have dove deeper into the reviews instead of trusting the pictures.
This hotel is down the street from the two other very popular, reputable hotels. I usually stay at another chain- but they were full. So I stayed here... I should have gone elsewhere. I arrived at 2:30 for a 3 pm check-in, room not ready. Trying to get the front desk attention was the challenge. I'm not sure what they were doing but I stood there forever. Room not ready - they told me to wait. At 2:45, still not ready. I told them I'd just go elsewhere, front desk acted like they were doing me a favor by putting me in an available room (??) - hotel pictures so deceiving. This place needs a major overhaul. Time warp - 80's. Entire hotel poorly lit, carpet is taped up, curtains were torn, wallpaper ripped. It smelled musty, sofa in my room looked like it had been picked off the side of the road. I can't comment on the breakfast, because I left at 4 am just happy to get out. The hotel shares a parking lot with Twin Peaks - which has a whole diff set of issues. If you have landed on this place because there was a "special price".. do yourself a favor, go somewhere else. I can't even believe this is part of the Marriott chain of hotels. If you want to better your hotel, start with friendly staff. If you are not a people person, don't work in hotel management.
