I spent three nights at this hotel (mon-wed).
LOCATION is very central, only 100 meters from the Royal Mile.
This is a nice boutique/designer hotel.
The hotel and room was quite clean with good (free) WiFi also in the room.
Breakfast contains the basic, toast, cheese, ham and cereals/yoghurt. They do however cook different varieties of eggs to order, which is quite nice.
The staff is friendly and forthcoming.
After three nights I left the city for a couple of days, and when I returned I chose to stay at a different hotel for the remainder of my staty in Edinburgh.
The reason for this is that it is rather noisy at the hotel.
In the court yard there is a neighbouring bar (Three Sisters) with a giant screen, showing sporting events.
Partying contunes late at night and as the bar is outdoors, the noice from the crowds can easily be heard in the room. Two of the three nights were very noisy.
One night around midnight I went to the reception, as I was unable to sleep - and they did manage to have the music turned down a bit.
If you do enjoy being part of the pary you will no doubt enjoy staying here.
