The room location was fantastic. A corner room facing the square. And well furnished, except for the reclining chairs, where the cushion has given up, to the many years they have been in service,
The bathromm, though probably well cleaned, carried itself with a sense of tiredness. tiles were broken and ,icolored in the corners, gave it a feeling og that all was over as a bathroom, and if the bathroom were a horse, and I a "vet", I would have to put it down with my shotgun.
The Concierge, fellow at the reception, was a well dressed and fine looking person, but had the exact same feel around him, tired and no smiles, no welcome - but you got your key, so what....?
This hotel has all it takes to be a five star experience, location, interior (if functioning proper), sound insutated, but is just a worn out tired of life OLD HORSE, pretending to be a Castillian thoroughbred, because it has just got new horseshoes.
Such a shame.
