Great lack of service
The Grooms Beach resort claims to be located at the beach according to Hotels.com.
This is obviously not correct and false information given to upcoming customers.
The Hotel is 350 meters away from the beach.
The rooms were simply clean, the AC worked as expected but the personal service was lacking greatly.
For those of you who who by mistake chose "Grooms Beach Resort", just book another hotel on that Island.
There are plenty of others.
When I arrived in the evening, there was no toiletpaper and no water in the bathroom.
We complained about it and it was fixed quickly.
The next day we paid 60 ECD for a half lukewarm chicken.
We paid 60 ECD for a great delicious steak the day before in another place.
On another lunch day there was no food at all for lunch. No food to order.
For breakfast the next day, they had a menu card and half of all the items could not be ordered.
They simply didn't have them.
I am disappointed and recommend choosing another hotel on the Island with better reviews.
I feel sorry for them and their service, and hope that they improve.
