Good value and convenient location
This is a convenient spot at a reasonable rate if you want to hit the Alamo and the Riverwalk. Car owners beware that this place only offers valet parking at a fairly stiff rate; we took an Uber from the airport and that's roughly half the cost of parking for one night.
Staff were simply amazing--super friendly, welcoming and attentive to every need. The breakfast is one of the best we've had anywhere--hot scrambled eggs with chorizo, sausage patties and refried beans, waffles, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, toast, fresh fruit, you name it, they had it out there and the kitchen staff was attentive to keeping things well stocked and fresh.
Our room was a king-bed suite, and we love the layout. Separate sitting area with a couch and desk, a small mini-kitchen near the entry, large bathroom with sink/dressing area separated so you didn't fog up everything. Water pressure was awesome and the bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows.
One complaint we'd have to point at housekeeping--there was some dirt and hair in the corners of the bathroom and some tooth paste splatter on the dressing room sink and mirror. Those items called into question how well they were vacuuming the carpeted areas that you couldn't assess so well and wiping down other surfaces in the room.
One last note-they do have a reasonably good workout room with several treadmills, a bike, elliptical machine and some free weights. That was a welcome amenity which we had all to ourselves every time we used it.
