My partner and I had a pleasant stay, although there were some aspects that could be improved. Let's start with the positives.
The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, greeting us with a smile upon our arrival. Check-in was smooth. The rooms were a bit on the small side, and we felt that they could use some refreshing to brighten them up.
The breakfast was okay, but it was slightly disappointing for a 4-star hotel. There was a basic selection of breakfast items, but it lacked variety. We would have appreciated more options to choose from, especially since we were staying for several days. Nevertheless, the staff in the breakfast area was friendly, and we had a decent start to the day.
One of the most peculiar things we noticed was the absence of bathing facilities for guests with late departures. For a hotel with 4 stars, we expected them to have a shower or changing area available, so guests could freshen up before leaving. This was undoubtedly an inconvenience and something we hope the hotel will consider addressing.
Overall, we still had a good experience at Sercotel Kalma Sitges. The hotel's location was fantastic, being close to the beach.
