Taichung

Taichung takes its position on Taiwan’s west coast, boasting ever-balmy weather. A thriving cosmopolitan city, it offers something for absolutely everyone, from glossy designer stores and overflowing local markets, to swanky restaurants and pumping nightclubs.

Taichung has no shortage of attractions either. The island’s inland has lots to see, so be sure to take a bus or taxi to nearby natural havens like Sun Moon Lake.
