It was a very nice stay. Nothing was bad about the entire hotel stay experience. I stayed for 6 days and wish i could have stayed longer.

This is not my first time staying here. We stayed on the bay side clean n spacious . A/c worked well. I’d recommend and I’ll continue to stay here when in town.

Was older building but was comfortable. Ac and bed could be better but for the price was fair. Pool and beach right across the street. Less than 10 minute walk to times Square shopping and food

Fun quirky tourist trap. The bay motel has an amazing patio by the river, and quick walking access to everything. It’s an older building so not perfect but I definitely want to return!

Nice place to stay that allowed the same experience as the hotel with the added benefit of having a kitchen. Normal wear and tear of the room. Felt very secure and the staff was on top of making sure you had a great experience.

I thought I was getting a 1 bedroom, like when we stayed before. We had a kitchen and living and a separate bedroom. This time a motel room.

The bed was hard and lumpy. The atmosphere was loud. It was difficult to sleep comfortably.

There was huge bugs in the room, and the staff didn’t seem to care. The kitchen smelt like cat piss and the ice machine won’t work half the time. Stay at the sister resort, the bay inn is forgot about

Not bad for a last minute $100 room.

For $100, you get what you pay for. We were passing through and needed a last minute hotel. The room was very dated, but clean. There were broken blinds and no curtains, and a light right by the window, so it was very bright in the room all night. The pull out bed had a very worn out mattress, which was super uncomfortable, even for young kids. However, the room was clean and located just across the street from the gulf. The staff was friendly. The area was fun, though it was predominantly young adults. Overall, we can’t complain for a last minute $100 room.

Water leaks

We had a (big) water leak in our room when it rained...we informed the front desk and they sent a maintenance guy who told us "this is normal". When we checked out we told the front desk again and there were other people checking out that told the same story...we were all told that it was "normal"!

2/10 Poor

This felt like a bait and switch. We had zero kitchen, unlike all the photos, we had optional maid service and when requested their entire non english speaking staff, didnt understant to please sweep the copious sand accumulation. And change the sheets. 8 nights 1 set of sheets and we toweled out the sand and wore socks in 92F weather. The coffeemaker was literally a 9.99 walmart the switch broke on day 3 of 8. We took photos and will upload if requested. The food across the street on the 6th floor was the best part of the trip. Staff renting umbrella and chair do NOT work for Lani Kai and guests pay full rates. Yep, $27 a day to lay in the sand in front of your hotel. Oh and they control when the umbrella goes up or down to wind. Hit me in the closing on my neck which has a 14” steel plate on my spine. My cane was with me. Disabled guests are not accomodated. Skip this property, and Fort Myers. Jimmy Buffett cant save this place.

Pass Don’t do it. Normally I’m not one to leave such a bad review. But I wish I would’ve had a review like this so I wouldn’t have booked it. I was in town for one night for business. Online it looked decent. Maybe not a typical pick for me. But it looked nice. I was wrong If the sheets didn’t look clean and it wouldn’t have only been sleeping there for one night. I would’ve left. And honestly I still should’ve. The rooms were something else, not like the photos showed. A window ac unit that was loud with jank foam around it. Little tiny tiny bugs plus the much larger something I killed on my sheets when I woke up. The pool is across the main road, it had so much stuff floating in it, a dirty diaper just laying poolside with no diaper age children around. No back on the remote covering the batteries, I mean I could go on and on. My fave local pizza place wasn’t open so I opted to go upstairs to the island view. Grossest waste of a $17 pizza I’ve ever attempted to eat. Upon checkout I walked all the way over to the office and explained the situations and how uncomfortable I was and she told me nothing could be done because I booked through orbitz. Steer clear. Don’t book t

Decepcionante

We love Fort Myers Beach

We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean. No water pressure and the bed kinda dipped in the middle but room was great overall. The only amenity we used was the pool and it was clean and didn’t reek of chlorine thankfully. The only thing I didn’t care for was the fact that you can’t walk around with anything to eat or drink that wasn’t purchased at the resort. We will definitely stay again!
