It is beyond my imagination that Hotels.com could not have alerted us the hotel we were planning to stay in was closed. Sure, we were moved to another hotel. However, we were alerted of this changed by reading a paper notice taped to an abandoned hotel. Imagine if we had arrived late at night, with no lights on. Do you really expect me to understand how an internet-based company such as Hotels.com could not have sent me a text to alert me of the change?!? You cover me requested to review hotels the minute I check in and the minute I check out, but you cannot provide an early warning about a closed hotel?!?! Unacceptable!!! Thoroughly unacceptable in every way
