Two friends and I have just stayed at the hotel in each our rooms. One on the 1st floor, me on the 3rd and the third on the 5th floor. On the 6th and top floor is a centrally placed piece of machinery that reverberates throughout the hotel, making it next to impossible to get any sleep if you are so unlucky to have got a room on the 4th floor or above. Our best guess is that this must have something to do with the aircondition units inside the rooms but it was impossible to get the hotel staff to acknowledge that such a piece of machinery even existed, even though you can hear it three floors down. The first night the toilet in my friend's room on the 5th floor was even broken, further adding to the noise and the hotel clerk refused to come take a look, claiming that he could not leave his post for even a minute. My friend was offered another room to stay in that night, although half the size of what we had paid for. The second night we stayed the noise was a bit quieter but the third and last night it was back and even worse. This morning when we went back home, my friend again inquired about the noise and got the same answer again that no such machine existed, despite clear audible evidence when standing in the central stairwell that it does exist. We can give this hotel no more than a 2 star score.
