I am a 10-year platinum member with expedia, traveling a lot. Not my first time at this property but I never had such an experience.
In the first night, I have been bitten by some insect. I have reported it at the front desk and shown the pretty big bite mark (was already 3 inch in diameter).
The lady played it down and was busy trying to blame shift asking whether I had the window open (I did not) and they gave me a desinfectant wipe (like the ones I havd a dozen of from planes). No antihistamines - which I had to buy myself. Now, a week later, I still have trouble and racked up medical bills around $50 ... I would have at least expected some kind of support or partial refund for my medial cost (not speaking of the week-long itching).
I mean, I was bitten by some poisonous insect in that hotel and it turned bad. Unfortunately, I cannot attach pictures here.
