If you would like to have cockroaches as your pet, this is the hotel for you. We don't, so we left the hotel within 5 minutes of arrival, even though the room was prepaid.
The first warning sign is that the hotel looks nothing like the pictures online. When trying to get in to our room (130) the door was stuck, so it felt like you had to break in to get the door open. Our room was right in front of the stairs, which meant there was a bright light outside the room, yet the drapes couldn't be pulled in front of the window so there wouldn't have been any way to make the room dark at night.
However, none of this mattered as the first thing we saw when we got the door open, was a huge cockroach running across the floor towards the bathroom. In the bathroom there was another cockroach crawling around the tub, and down the drain when we turned on the light - and this was big ass cockroaches around 2inches/5cms.
When we stood in the bedroom we could hear the cockroaches, or whatever other creepy crawlers the hotel has, crawl around behind the furnitures. It didn't take us more than a few minutes to leave the room and check out again.
The guy at the front desk was not surprised to hear what we found and literally said "yeah, I have no idea what is going on with this place".
Because the room was prepaid we were not able to get our money back, but in the end it would probably have cost us more if we had stayed considering what sort of bugs we would have brought home with us.
