We stayed here the very first night this hotel was open and although it was clear everything was perhaps not 100% completed yet and there was still a slight smell of new carpet and fresh paint the staff were very friendly and helpful and provided a warm welcome.
The hotel is located in an area that used to house a huge shipyard but has since been developed into both residential and commercial areas. It is close to the harbour and the central station, the city centre and the famous Turning Torso building are all within easy walking distance. As an added bonus there’s even a bus stop right in front of the hotel as well.
The room we had booked was one of the smallest rooms available but we still found it spacious and practical and with the amenities you’d expect at an apartment hotel. The bed itself was comfortable and provided the basis for a really good nights sleep.
I also discovered a few, digital, features that hadn’t been fully implemented yet but would be an excellent addition, though probably mostly for stays longer than the one night we spent there on this occasion.
This specific building used to house the shipyard HQ and I love how many features of the old building have been maintained, particularly in the entrance of the hotel.
I look forward to returning here in the future and have no problem recommending this facility to others.
