Only reason I gave overall good, instead of excellent was that resort beach was not useable, bit smelly and lots of sea weed prevented us from enjoying the beach. If you're someone who wants the full American-style resort experience with an on-site restaurant, bar, and lots of amenities, you may prefer Pelican Beach.
