Lovely small hotel. Owners are wonderful. The rooms are clean and stylish. Had the hot tub to myself most of the time. Central location. Would return.

We were the first guests to stay at the beautiful inn after covid reopenings. Stayed for our 4th wedding anniversary - surprised us with a bottle of wine even! Communication from start to finish was exceptional. Sandra was so helpful leading up to our stay with room recommendations and local information with the covid regulations as we had many questions. When we arrived, they were very diligent of creating a safe experience and we were able to do a social distance check in with a great discussion about the local attractions from Brent. He is a wealth of knowledge! Accommodation is beautiful and decor is perfect - as we were the first guests we had the property to ourselves and definitely made use of the relaxing hot tub after our daily hikes. Netflix and the fridge are a great touch in the room. Location is awesome - hands down will stay again due to the great accommodation in addition to the lovely ukee community. Food and drink within walking distance and so close to the wild pacific trail. Great restaurants literally outside your door and Tofino and Long Beach are a short drive away. Definitely believe ukee blows Tofino out of the water! Stay here in ukee for sure!

Awesome little place to stay. Super quiet and cozy and close to town. Everything is walking distance in Ukee. Hosts are extremely kind and the place has everything you need.

Sandra and Brent are warm and friendly people, and they are superb hosts. They made my two week stay here as comfortable as it was delightful. This is the kind of place that, once discovered, you continue to come to, year after year. They were a wealth of information about where to go, and what to experience ... and they made me feel like a friend. I particularly loved when deer would come peek into the French doors overlooking the cozy hot tub. Thank you, The Francis Boutique Inn, for making my stay on the Pacific Coast even more marvellous.

Conveniently located right on the main road, the inn is a 5 minute walk from the town’s best restaurants and 1 minute from the coop grocery store. Although we initially planned commuting to Tofino, it turned out that most of the activities we were interested in are easier to access from Ucluelet. Brent also gave us a personal intro to the area making excellent recommendations for restaurants, trails, etc. Oh... and if you get in touch with Brent and Sandra before setting off on your drive to Ucluelet, you will receive recommended stop over points. The suites themselves were bright and airy. We stayed in a king room, which was on the first floor. Although we didn’t get to watch too much TV, it was nice to know that Netflix was available to supplement the regular channels. The suite also had umbrellas, beach towels, 2 suitcase stands (thank you!!!) and even binoculars. Beds were quite comfortable and Blankets light but warm. Even though we only stayed in Ucluelet 2 nights, the stay was so relaxing that it felt like a whole week. Thank you for a care-free vacation Brent and Sandra!

Fabulous base. Exceptional host. Great guidance to maximise the Ukee experience.

Proximity to restaurants and the amenities was terrific

We've been coming to Ucluelet every year for 20 years, and have never stayed in a place so charming and comfortable as The Francis. We didn't have time to take advantage of everything offered (the storied guestbook, hot tub, local recommendations for restaurants and sights and hikes, fireplace, big screen TV, etc). The hosts are warm and friendly. The location is ideal. The rooms are clean and modern and very well decorated. We are already planning a return visit!
