The area around the hotel is very run down and unpleasent, so our first impression was not good. When we arrived, we were met by nice staff, but we soon realised that it was all downhill from there. The room, although big and spacey, smelled like cigarettes and we found cigarette butts in the cushions of the couch. A quick glance out the window revealed the nice outdoor pool and palm trees, were a lie. The pool was empty and the palm trees were all smashed and broken up, and probably plastic (we didn't bother going down to check). There was mole in the bathroom, so we didn't bother taking a shower either. We put our faith in the indoor pool, which was just a square pool of water and the water was too cold. The hotel is located right next to the runway of the airport and listening to airplanes all night taking off, made it difficult to sleep.
Our last hope was the breakfast. First bite revealed an eggshell in the scrambled.
The only positive is the nice guy in the reception who let us park right outside the main entrance, on a restricted space, because we were afraid our car might otherwise be stolen.
2/5.
