I used my reward for this hotel, but upon arrival I was informed by the staff that my booking, that I had made via phone with hotels.com and had a confirmation on, was not of a room for three, but a room for two. I therefore had to pay additional to get an extra bed, and also an addition if I wanted breakfast. I showed the staff my confirmation mail of three people, they said that this had happened before, but I still needed to pay. It was an unpleasant experience.
Later that evening I spoke to the staff and they informed me that they had spoken to hotels.com and my booking was correct and I did not have to pay for an additional bed. My room was not changed and I still had to sleep i a foldout bed.
It was an uncomfortable experience especially when one is looking forward to the stay and is meet with issues already at the reception.
The location is nice and the room was very clean, but the service upon arrival was not professional and could have been handled differently. For example the staff could have contacted hotels.com before my arrival and handled all questions.
