I wandered around the property until I saw the building that is the front office. It was not well lit and there was no clear signage to indicate it was the front office. Due to COVID, the office wasn't open to the public. My room key was taped to the front door of the office in a plain white envelope, unsecured. While the surrounding area isn't unsafe, anyone could have grabbed the key to my room at any time, given that it was just there, unsecured. It also seems like there could have been information prior to arriving that would have indicated where the office is and how to retrieve my key. The bed in my room was sagging in the middle so I didn't sleep well. Everything else met or exceeding expectations. However, at $160/night, I would probably not stay there again.
