Friendly social locale. Close to bus and train. Comfortable bed and nice little breakfast with excellent coffee. Very helpful staff and luggage storage is nice. Good place to meet fellow travellers. Enjoyed our stay.

Was provided a map and directions of places to see which were great recommendations. Rooms had balconies. Only 3 bathrooms but wasnt too bad waiting a few minutes. Place was clean

A great spot to explore Bari
The Olive Tree was a lovely spot to explore Bari and Puglia! The staff made me feel right at home and provided suggestions for restaurants, transportation, and spots to visit. I didn't make it to all of them, but the ones I did were great. Likewise, I took advantage of one of the day trips they offered (to Alberobello and Polignano a Mare) and it was fabulous! The location is close walking distance to both the old town of Bari and the Central train station (5-10 minutes to each), and the staff helped me out with the train schedules and routes as needed. The location makes it a quick, easy trip to the airport and other towns in the region. I stayed in a private room and it was GREAT for a hostel single- large, sunny, clean, and with access to the balcony. They do have VERY specific check-in hours during the winter, which is something to heed if you're headed there in the off-season. (I was aware before arriving, so I planned accordingly.) Breakfast was nothing to write home about, but was sufficient (cereals, breads, jams, coffee) and left me room to eat all of the delightful things Bari has to offer. The kitchen is the main common space, and proved to be a good place to meet other travelers staying the hostel.

Staff were a bonus to the stay!
Maggie invited myself and another guest out for dinner with her and Leah one night. They showed us some great places to eat in Old town and had a wonderful time. Hostel is clean, good amount of amenities and a nice little breakfast to start the day. Thank you to the full team at Olive Tree.

You can’t do better in Bari!
The good vibes at Olive Tree really made for the best hostel stay I have ever had. The place is spacious and spotless and well suited for the number of people it serves. David and his staff are amazing and suggestions for travel in and around Bari were right on. Be sure you save time to trek out to Matera and get direction to the 2€ focaccia... it will change your life. I loved Olive Tree so much

Only a 9 min walk from Bari central station. The staff and owner David were extremely helpful/very knowledgeable of area. Great outside deck to have a lunch, coffee or just relax. Breakfast is very basic and could be better - yogurt or fruit perhaps? Would I stay there again - absolutely.

Hostel is very clean and in good location -15 min from Bari Centrale. The hostel staff was very friendly and helpful. It will be a good choice for those who stay in Bari for longer time.
