Great location, nice grounds and amenities
Really nice property in the middle of the Death Valley. Great location with proximity to several key sights and Furnace Creek Visitor Center. The property is well maintained with a nice pool and gardens. Food options were somewhat limited for vegetarian, gluten free needs.

Great place to stay. They let us check-in an hour early. Front desk and bar staff excellent. Hotels.com got us decent price, but maybe one of the least desirable rooms in the very nice place, Room had a fridge and coffee maker and view over some facilities of moonrise and mountains to the East. We split a 3-egg omelet breakfast and were happy with the amount of potatoes, but one got one piece of bread split between us.

Not bad as long as you can walk
We had a pleasant experience at the hotel. People with mobility issues should be warned, the hotel is not ADA friendly. There is a small single elevator but it manages to be a long walk from everything. You won’t be able to tour the garden and getting in and out of the pool area will be a project. That said, the room was clean and comfortable with convenient outlet placement and at least the hotel is back to offering a room refresh each day even if it isn’t full housekeeping. What do you expect for $800/night? We liked the restaurant overall although they did try to serve us raw pork one night (they apologized, made us another and comped us a dessert). We really liked the evening fire by the pool and the gentleman who helped us with a golf cart ride in and out of it. The common areas of the hotel are stunning. The stargazing from the roof was a treat.
