Parliament House Hotel

The Parliament House is located near the Waverley train station and certainly within walking distance to Holyroodhouse and Edinburgh castle. It backs up to Calton hill which provides an excellent view of the city. This is the second time staying at Parliament house and overall I was very happy with the accommodations. This being said, I do wish the bed was more comfortable and the pillows could use a bit more fluff. The nightstands on either side of the bed were very narrow given the amount of items I need at hand nowadays. The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. Everyone I spoke to seemed very interested in making sure my questions were answered to my satisfaction. The bottom line is that I love this place, the people and the location.

Staff service very good, good location less than 5 mins walk from the station, tram stop. Room tastefully decorated with spacious bathroom, tea and coffee facilities and a mini bar in the room. We didn't eat at the hotel as we left before 7 for the airport. Good value for money in Edinburgh but we did get a good rate booking early. Would stay again.

It really was great. We came from a very modern hotel in London, and it was such a sweet change. It was comfortable, and a little more old fashioned, with adorable décor. I loved the plaid pillows and the towel warmers in the bathroom.

Parliament House Hotel is a very nice and well kept hotel. The staff are very nice and they had a great selection of gluten-free breakfast items in the restaurant for my wife. I thought the room was a little small and there wasn't much space to lay things out. I also prefer having an in-room safe rather than having to leave things at the main desk (but that's probably nit-picking). All-in-all, I would recommend the hotel to friends and family.
