Silver Sands Motel

This is nothing like the pictures. It's very old and had not had any updates for years n years. This includes, beds, bedding, pillows, furniture. They said our room had a patio or something like that, it was actually a door to a 4x4 area to walk outside. It did have a very nice view.... that would be the only good thing about it. It isn't worth the price for that view. It was disgusting!!

We arrived at the hotel, were cheerily greeted, and got into our room in time to walk out to the beach and watch the sunset. While the room is a little outdated it was clean and comfortable. First floor rooms have a door to walk out right to the beach. Our room was on the second floor and we had a wonderful view of the ocean and could leave the window open and listen to the waves as we drifted off to sleep. Rockaway Beach is a lovely town with warm and friendly people and I would love to go back and stay at the Silver Sands again.

The view was spectacular, and that's why we chose this property. Room itself was clean, but overall property is showing it's age.

Room was nice and clean. Nice view from our window of the beach.

Would definitely stay there again.
