Clean, comfortable and convenient. The staff were amazing. The view from the lobby was breathtaking. Access to the beach was a little tricky, as you had to go through the pool area. Overall I’d stay again!

Not a bad stay, GREAT pizza
The stay was good, but the ocean view was a joke. I had a view of the dirt and construction but if I went on the balcony and stood at the back of the balcony, I could see the water. That was disappointing and it was a poor description. I ordered pizza and was told to pick it up at the desk, no room service I guess. The pizza was AMAZING though and totally worth it.

Notufy guests of any beach warnings.
The hotel was nice The pool was clean it looked over the beach it was beautiful. The room was nice and clean. Check in went well however we walked down onto the beach and found manowar's being washed ashore by the hundreds. We did not know what they were so we did the research ourselves and Alabama news reported a beach warning about several washing ashore. I feel we should have been notified when we checked in of the danger this could pose on us. Hotel attendance should be aware of a risk like this to their guests. Thank goodness no one got hurt.

After Christmas stay
I had a great stay at The Tides. My daughter and I traveled to Gulf Shores for an after Christmas tournament, and I was by myself for most of the trip. The hotel was nice, clean, well staffed, and I felt safe. I stayed in a basic room that was clean and perfect for what I needed. We would stay here again.
