Leaside Manor by The Leaside Group

It's a lovely historic property with lots of character. However, there were a few things that needed attention. The shades in the window were torn and discolored. The walkways were icy and difficult to walk on safely.

We like the heated floors, the jetted tub, the layout of the shower and toilet (enclosed with a door). The colour of the curtain around the bed and the fireplace. The free breakfast was great...delivered to the room and was ready very fast. The only negative was that the parking area was really icy...needed some extra care with salt and maybe sand. A lawsuit waiting to happen.

Beautiful room. Tub didn’t drain properly, breakfast was awful for a bed and breakfast.

Hi There, We stayed in the Leaside manor on December 21st, 2019. We stayed at the Parker suite. We asked for special arrangements for our anniversary, and let's just say it was quite disappointing. Our hot tub wasn't working, the arrangements weren't done and for some reason the place was very loud that we couldn't sleep we tried to call the front desk but there was no one there to help, we also tried to call the Monastery staff, but he couldn't reach anyone on site to try and get the noise down. After a half hour we were told that there is a Christmas party and that they have the whole place booked and the bar don't close until 12 am, and there is no guarantee what time they can get the noise down. Very disappointing that they never told us about the party prior to coming or even when checking in?? The girl apologized and told us that she can try to move us somewhere else but there are no guarantees as she has to ask a manager first. So we asked if we could be moved within half an hour to go ahead if not we will try to sleep through it again. Overall very disappointed with the stay, least to say won't be staying here anytime in the near future. Plus they said the manager will get back to us on Monday n nothing happened

At this point I paid $380 for one night. It was only suppose to be $155. I actually got charged $530 in total, but was already refunded $150. I'm still waiting over a week on the rest of my refund. I don't know what I was charged so much to begin with.
