We stayed here as a culmination of a longer trip, and it definitely was the most luxurious of the places where we stayed.
The facilities were exceptional, with the rooms being one of the highlights.
The complex is beautiful and well maintained, and the staff will go beyond their call of duty to make your stay as pleasant as possible, though on few occasions I was glad that my friend spoke fluent Indonesian.
As an example, the concierge helped us determine whether the luggage storage at Denpasar Airport was still operational, and obtained additional info by repeatedly contacting them until our questions were answered.
The pool was beautiful and clean, and even had a reasonably deep section, which can sometimes be a rarity in Indonesia.
The breakfast buffet is enormous, with an extremely wide variety of choices available.
There are really only two potential downsides mentionable, though I did not detract from my rating for them.
There is a "no outside food and drinks" policy, and since entering the resort involves a checkpoint, it may not be suitable for those intending to frequently leave and come back.
If you have gotten used to indonesian prices, the former can be a bit painful, though it's not unreasonable by western standards.
I would also note that the phones in the rooms did not work for us.
If you are looking for a resort experience, with all the implications, you will be very happy here.
In retrospect I recognise that I wasn't, but I am grateful for the experience.
