My husband and I were very happy on our first visit to NYC. During our stay we were comfortable and satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel (despite the permanent noise made by the toilet pipe). However after we checked out they charged us $60 USD for no reason. When calling them on several occasions, their service was unfortunately bad, since Front Desk only informed that the charge was the deposit and that it would be released at any time. After 12 days, today I received an answer that the charge had been for "taking with us the towels from the room", which is not true and took us by surprise. The towels are very stiff and we didn't like them, plus there was no way they would have fit in our suitcase after the shopping we did in NYC 😅 it's not acceptable to pay for something we didn't take from the room. As a word of warning, be careful or take photos of all the towels you receive and leave in your room at the end of your stay.
