La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston Channelview

We enjoyed our stay. The air conditioner was a little loud and distracting.

Hotel was under renovation. Was clean, but beds are very uncomfortable. Bed covers thin, not cozy nor were they warm. Pillows very small, hard, cheap AND CAUSED NECK PAIN. Woke up very sore. Beds are what make your stay satisfying. This stay was unsatisfying. Breakfast is poor quality. Coffee out of a machine was yucky. Breakfast was dry, stale, bitter and cold.

we’ve stayed at La Quinta’s all over the US for 35 + years . This was our worst experience. Remodeling was going on so maybe this accounted for the fraid and soiled carpet. TV only had one channel. Receptionist tried to fix but only changed to a different single channel. Wanted us to change rooms at 10 or possibly find someone to fix at 11. Decided on just going to bed. Selection at breakfast was poor, breakfast attendants were standing around visiting and not restocking items ( guess we got there to late at 8 AM) . But the worst was when we got back to our room, someone had unlocked and left our door open. When the receptionist asked about our stay we shared our experiences. She told us sorry but she couldn’t do anything because we had not booked our stay directly with La Quinta.

Lexi at the front desk was very accommodating. However the furniture had holes, toilet wasn’t fully clean, no trash bags in the trash can, and the water went out while I was washing my hair.

Front desk lady was amazing! Super sweet and helpful. The only thing was that the bathroom was not clean when we entered. Black hairs in sink and a used lotion bottle bottle crumpled up on counter. We were in too much of hurry to call up for cleaning.
