Hotel Corona

Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Corona in Rome, Italy. Breakfast could have been a bit better, perhaps more fruit and eggs? Can recommend to others. We were travelling 8 people together and we arrived at midnight on the first night. Check-in went smooth, the rooms were clean, cleaning service was perfect as well.

Very good location but the hotelroom as not good as it had a bad smelling of damp which made us sick.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, clean, good breakfast and sitting area. Should have checked well confirmation email regarding size of room and bed. Also email says WiFi but does not specify if it’s free. Apparently the heating was turned off at some point during the last night. It is also turned on at 5 PM which was not a big problem during my stay because of the outside temperature.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean. Good location, we managed to walk everywhere from the hotel and very close to the train station/metro/bus links etc. The room I booked was small and basic (standard single) - but for a city break where I spent little time there it was perfect - and for the price I paid was great. Breakfast not great - however there are many small cafes in the area, and it very much depends on your own personal preference. However considering it was one of the cheaper hotels I found I was impressed by the standard and cleanliness and gave us more money to spend on Rome - which can be expensive!
