The stay overall was pleasant. There were just a few parts that made it more a 5/10 stay. The toilet seat was broken. The shower had no curtain or enough coverage therefore the bathroom flooded after every shower. The heater didn’t work (however they kindly provided a portable heater) and finally house cleaning was average and almost done without any effort or care. Furthermore the same lady walked in twice in the space of an hour without knocking and unlocked our door whilst we were inside.

I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews. However, this place was great! The beds were awesome, close to a tram line and metro. I would definitely recommend this place!

Only thing missing is an iron. Got upgraded, wifi works great. Measured it to 5 Mbs.

I ended up with the short straw: the room in the corner that's made up from all the wee spare bits of building the rooms next to it don't use. Apart from the consequential odd and cramped layout, the room was clean, in good condition, and the bed was very comfy. Unfortunately, during my stay it was quite hot in Brussels - over 30º during some days - and, while the hotel can't be blamed for the weather, the placing of the room's window - set back from the edge of the building such that it was in the back of a u-shaped alcove - meant that even with the window wide open it was difficult to get any airflow in the room, and I struggled to sleep for the heat. Bring a fan if you're staying in summer! That said, the room did come with a fridge which was great for keeping drinks cool. Finally, the room I was in, and three or four others was only accessible via a big step of 20-30cm and a steep, and surprisingly slippy, ramp at about 30-40º from horizontal. While it'll be manageable for most people, if you have a significant mobility impairment, you'll probably want to make sure the hotel don't put you in one of those rooms.
