The hotel is very nice, clean, and comfortable
We were disappointed though because we reserved (3 weeks in advance) a room with a king size bed but when we checked in we were told that they over-booked and only had rooms with 2 queen beds

Over rated
I think this hotel was over rated. I based my choice on reviews and I don't think the reviews were honest. While the hotel was modern and clean ( I wasn't sure about our rooms bathroom floor) the elevators are slow, the breakfast was so so, and I felt like our bed sagged in the middle. Also, having to use the room key to go up and down the elevator did not lend itself to a sense of security but made me feel that the hotel was located in an unsafe area. I had set filters to free parking but the hotel charged guests $15 / night for parking. I will not stay here again when going to Houston

Clean and comfortable
The hotel itself feels very clean and new. I have no complaints about that and that is my biggest thing. The breakfast was decent and the staff are all really nice. There were a few little defects in the room like a light being out and the remote batteries gone, but they corrected it. Other than that I would say I had a nice time.

Southern Hospitality at its best.
Everyone was amazing. They went out of there way to make sure my family and I were well taken care of. The food was 10 stars if I can give it that and everyone who worked in the kitchen were very attentive. They made sure you had all you needed and plus they kept everything stocked. They were continually replenishing the breakfast and drinks. The view was B.U.T. Ful (in my mom's voice) from our room, we stayed on the 9th floor over looking the city and the view was awesome. The night lights made it even more special. If ever I'm in the Houston area again, I will no doubt hands down stay there again.
Smoooooches!!💋💋
