It did the job!
Good hotel in an okay location. Be wary that taxis, ubers and Bolts etc will struggle to find you. We only found this out on day 2 after many many taxis cancelled on us! Could hear the alarm going off in someone else’s room quite clearly every morning and one morning it took them 3 hours to turn it off which was quite frustrating. Overall the room was nice. Bathroom smelled a bit musky but it did the job for what we needed it for. Heating on full blast so slept with the window open most nights

Great little hotel. Close to Simplon metro, very clean and very helpful and friendly team. There is a bar opposite that is a little noisy till about 2300 and no lift but highly recommend.

Lovely quiet basic hotel with friendly staff. Metro (Simplon-Route 4) only 3 mins walk and then access to the easily navigated network and all the sites. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again on next trip to Stade de France.

Amazing staff! Very friendly and helpful. They let us store our bags there for an hour or two before catching our train out of Paris. The stairwell is a bit narrow if you have to. carry heavy luggage! Bed was comfortable and room was nice and quiet. Would highly recommend.

I really loved the staff and reception and how caring they were for your needs. They even let us check out a bit later and they were very responsive to our requests. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping was excellent. They made sure that we had supplies given to us and they were extremely nice to us! Would definitely come back :)

Located across the street from a noisy pub, so best to keep windows closed when trying to sleep at night. Clean and well designed rooms. Staff were super friendly and did their best to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Some room maintenance required, such as blinds being fixed for privacy.

We enjoyed our stay at Baba hotel. The area wasn’t the best at night time and as first time visitors this initially made us a bit weary. Also a noisey place at night however with the windows closed you couldn’t hear it. It was a bit muggy so aircon or a fan would have been good. The main thing that we didn’t enjoy was the lights turning off every 8 minutes! We understand saving power however this was very frustrating when trying to get ready as limited natural light. Staff were always lovely and room was nice.

Lovely hotel but in a noisy area
Lovely hotel and very friendly, helpful staff. The bed, linen, and towels are all fresh and clean. Felt very safe at the hotel. It's also very close to the Metro and easy to get into the centre of Paris. Bars and restaurants within walking distance. It's a noisy area, though, even with double glazing. There's a late night bar across the road, and residents in other rooms can sometimes be heard. The noise was the main negative point of staying there.

The staff was nice and the bed confortable but the room was tiny and the hotel has no air conditioning, and when it is 30 degres outside you are forced to keep the window open. If you do, you’ll be kept awake for a long time due to the loud noise and music coming from the bar across the street. I Would not recommend this place

Its a nice small hotel and very clean. The down side was that there was no AC of fans for the room. It was June and very hot. The rooms are tiny any not very comfortable. Also, the neignborhood isn´¨t very nice or clean. The good thing was the metro was a 3-5 min walk.

LOVE this hotel!
Absolutely HAPPY with our stay at the Baba Hotel! Do NOT hesitate- the reviews are why we booked here, and it is a hidden gem. You cannot go wrong here: the most beautiful and comfortable rooms with the most caring staff, lovely breakfast, and beautiful ambiance. Close distance to the metro and all Paris has to offer. For those with mobility issues, request the ground floor. Our adult daughter joined us, and all 3 of us were very comfortable in this spacious and well-appointed room. Don't hesitate! New property and were pleased to be the first Americans here. Will always come back here when in Paris.

Pay extra for a larger room, in economy small there is no room to open your suitcase. Stay was okay until last day when we were not allowed to leave our bags, we had checked the night before if we could and was assured it was okay, spent an hour on our last day travelling to a luggage storage, left a sour taste to the end of the stay.

This is not an 8/10 property. I booked this hotel as it was close to Gare du Nord/ CDG so I could stay overnight and take an early train to CDG. The hotels near CDG were very expensive for one night. There isn't AC or fans available. It was hot in our room and if you open the windows the neighborhood was noisy. Paris in the summer is hot these days. We discovered in the am that the duvet inside had blood stains on them. The management did comp us our breakfast but it was disturbing to think we slept in someone else's dirty sheets. Interestingly, the hotel makes sure that the bathroom is updated, the towels are luxurious but it still doesn't make it an 8/10 property. The staff was very nice and helpful.
