Hotel Pacific Rome

Of all the hotels I stayed at in Europe, this was my favorite. It had the charm of an older hotel, but the room was very clean, modern, and spacious. I liked that breakfast and dinner were both options at the hotel as well, though we only had breakfast there, which was adequate and included foods such as pastries, ham, cheese, bread, cereal, yogurt, etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing I would give it low marks for would be the location. Though it’s closely situated near Vatican City, the immediate area lacks charm and there were few restaurants and cafes in the vicinity. Also, it was quite a distance from Roma Termini Train Station, so the cab rides cost us between 16-20 Euros. That being said, I would definitely recommend it to others visiting Rome.

Clean and comfortable hotel. Great breakfast and very good service. The surrounding area doesn’t have anything special but the hotel is very close to bus stop and metro station. Close to Vatican City too. Very pleased with my stay!

I had a good stay in the Pacific hotel. The only downside to my stay was the single bed that I had to sleep in as I am of a tall big build, so the bed wasn't quite enjoyable.

Was a perfect stay for what I needed. The hotel is no longer in its prime and could use a renovation to the guest rooms. However, the rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable and provided everything I needed. A nice perk is the 24 hour front desk and the very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel doesn't deserve a 10 but definitely would have given it a 9 or a 4.5 rating if that was available. It is an easy 5 minute walk to the metro (A line Cipro stop) and a 24 hour supermarket and has a great restaurant, La Sagra del Vino, a 2 minute walk up the street. 15 minute walk at most to the Vatican Museum.

Room was very small had a double bed and it literally took the entire room only had room to stand on each side the TV was only a little bigger than a large iPad the shower was so small that you couldn’t even wash your feet ! Employees were great and very helpful the area was a little far from most of the tractions..
