Enjoy your stay in this beautiful semi -detached house with whirlpool located near San Pietro Frascati, about 9 km from the beaches that Andersen loved so much: the baia del silenzio and the baia delle favole ( the bay of silence and the bay of fairytales).
The accommodation with private access comprises a large living room with sofa bed and kitchen, two bathrooms (one en suite) and two double bedrooms. From the living room you can access the garden with a porch for outdoor dining or sunbathing in the whirlpool. The location is ideal not only for visiting the beautiful Sestri Levante (9 km), where the International Andersen Award takes place in May, but also for visiting the Val di Vara (Varese Ligure 20 km), the first village with European organic certification, where in summer the "organic festival" takes place.
Here you can enjoy organic products such as cold cuts, milk, jams and typical sweets. The Val di Vara also offers numerous trekking / mountain biking trails in the woods and, for the more trained ones, the possibility to reach the Cinque Terre along many paths among the vineyards and overlooking the sea, as path number 5 that connects Monterosso to Vernazza, or the "via dell'amore" in Riomaggiore. From Sestri Levante it is possible to visit the Cinque Terre by sea admiring the splendor of the terracings on the water, or its red lands.
Do not miss the fashionable Santa Margherita Ligure and Rapallo (32 km) and the renowned Portofino (42 km). On the promontory of Portofino you can practice Nordic walking (from San Michele di Pagana up to the piazzetta - about 15 km) and biking, while trekking enthusiasts can reach the abbey of San Fruttuoso, along the old road of the friars (18 km). From here you can go back by ferry. In San Fruttuoso, diving lovers can visit the underwater statute "Christ of the abyss".
