Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley, an IHG Hotel

Great location and friendly staff.

Pleasant stay with lots of activities for the kids including the pool, water park, table tennis, arcade, movies etc.

Generally have an awesome time at the Crowne. This time was different as we were in a villa outside the hotel. The smell in the corridor was deplorable. We literally had to hold our breaths walking through the lobby of our villa (room 790). Aside from that, throughout the entire night there was this loud crackling static noise that kept waking me up (I assume this may be the air conditioner or something from upstairs), but I’d severely suggest this gets fixed before someone else uses the room.

Great few days in a perfect spot in hunter valley. Used the spa & pool facilities and the in room breakfasts were good.

The service was great , the food not so great and over priced !! We were told to come back at 2pm so that my son could go on the train.We left the brewery early so he wouldn't miss out and waited there for ten minutes and couldn't get through to reception.We finally got through to the bar that put us through to someone to be told that the train ride and carousel weren't working. We then went to the kids arcade and found it closed and w were then told that one of the machines weren't working so they closed the whole arcade off ! We went there so my son could enjoy the amenties so this was a major disappointment! They then gave us a bottle of wine and my child a stuffed toy !! I wouldn't recommend going with kids and the stairs in the lobby are so steep and very dangerous!! The people staying next door were loud and had to be told twice to keep it down!! Its a nice place but check before you go if the amenities are working if you have kids! Pool was nice and the king room was roomy !!

Every thing good, staff were perfect, restaurant awesome , I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent stay

Our 2 night stay was great. Even when habing trouble with the app the staff couldnt do enough to help and evem gave a bottle of wine free for i covienance. Would definitely stay here again

The value at this hotel just didn’t match the price we paid. Appreciating it was a holiday weekend, we had the two bedroom suite which was extremely basic and dated (but spacious), the hotel was over full, the pool was packed and it was just a disappointing experience given the very premium price we paid.

The villas are spacious and nice. Disappointing that there is no washing machine and dryer in the villa. There is a guest laundry. Nice resort. Check in was very slow and then the keycards were not activated ... annoying as had to walk quite a distance back to reception and wait again in a long queue. They need to hire more front staff. Reception hardly picks up phone Bfast was ok but nothing that special. Good activities for Kids including train ride.
