Holiday Inn Express & Suites Interstate 90, an IHG Hotel

First of all, the king suite room in the photos that I booked online was very different from the one we received. The photos show a separate bedroom with a door and the main area with the couch is larger. In reality, the room is much smaller and there is no separate bedroom area with a door. Laying in the bed you're staring at the people sleeping on the sofa and vice versa which is what I wanted to avoid. Super false advertising and honestly would have booked somewhere else if not for thinking we were getting the room in the photos. The next issue was lack of enforcement of the mask policy. Why have signs everywhere if not going to actually care if people wear them or not? Just for corporate show to keep the company happy? I understand not wanting to get conformational with guests but when half of your own employees aren't wearing them it's concerning.

The staff was the friendliest hotel staff I have ever dealt with. The room was quiet and nicely laid out. The breakfast was excellent. The fitness room was well equipped. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Coeur d'Alene.

The lady that checked us in was so nice! She greeted us and made check in was so quick and easy.

What ever you do don’t get the room above the pool. Since the pool is open 24hrs it’s always loud.

Our room was not ready until 530 at night. There was no bedding available for the sleeper sofa as they said they did not have a chance to get Laundry done. Did have a good breakfast there.

The only complaint I would have is that it was noisy in the rooms around us. Could hear people moving all night. Otherwise, great stay.

The bed was hard as a board, i like a firm bed but that was way too much then we discovered the box spring was broken and there was literally a board underneath. I woke up so sore and the shower wasn't much more than a trickle. These are things we expect to be good when we go to a hotel. There was a gal named Jen the 1st day she was super nice and helpful, the others were cold and annoyed that they had to deal with customers it seemed. We chose this place because it was the only one still doing a hot breakfast and had an open pool. We purposely wantwd these things and they did a great job making the breakfast safe but still satisfying. They serve you and its socially distanced so it was perfect when other hotels just offer 1 item in a to go bag. The maids only come every 5 days for p

Staff took there masks off to talk to guests that were not wearing mask and talked politics. Bad Image and poilicys.

Very clean and friendly, accommodating staff. Robert at the front desk was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Ashley was amazing and also friendly, courteous and helpful. Both these employees are exemplary and should be used to model customer service everywhere. Please be sure to give our thanks. We are grateful for all their efforts to provide us with a comfortable and relaxing stay. On a side note- all staff we came in contact during our stay greeted us and made us feel welcomed.

Clean, quite and comfortable. We slept great in the beds, the bathroom was roomy and great shower pressure. Very welcoming staff.
