Mount Falcon Estate i Ballina

fabulous food. Could not get a suite for the dates that I was looking for, the superior rooms were somewhat noisy from adjacent rooms, which annoys me. Anyway, this is our second stay and will not be our last. Next time I will book well in advance for one of the two deluxe suites.

Weekend away - great food, great location for a chill weekend. Deducting a few points for poor wireless broadband. It was patchy in places and you had to move around the room to get the best reception. Of course the purpose of our visit was to get away from all that so it wasn't that upsetting really :)

We arrived later than planned but were warmly welcomed and enjoyed dinner without fuss. Somehow, the address of Foxford Road left us confused, driving from Knock, as to whether it was to or from Ballina (from, on the right), but once found we loved our stay. Certainly one to repeat, with more time in future to enjoy the hotel with its wonderful, varied and extensive facilities.

Lovely place, smelling of wood fires. Older delux rooms are beautiful- old style. Breakfast was great.
