I was disappointed because a private party took over the bowling alley- that same party was extremely loud at night I can hear them falling asleep was a bit hard and the cave was closed off as well a wedding I felt the amenities where not accessible

Old wine hotel

This resort was very popular but they need to renovate for their price point. The staff was nice but not very helpful. It’s a good location for Napa and the on property restaurants were good. The room has a lot of wear and tear. The gym didn’t have water or towels. Pretty location with a cute vineyard in the back.

The idea of this resort is great! Needs better execution to be 4 starts, but I had a decent stay. Rooms are minimal luxury and few have the view the show in their photos. My upgraded room was average above the Village. The gym was awesome, but the A/C didn't work and wasn't repaired over the course of my stay (despite calling) food store was good but not great, sports bar was very good. All in all a decent stay and a value for Napa but if they could put more thought into the guest experience they could make this a gem.

Property was great. Bed was great. Asked someone to deliver more shower gel because pump wasn’t working. No one came to the room. It’s minor but overall place was great.

Poor service and raw sewage

The hotel room was a very nice room & the grounds looked nice as well. The problem was the cleanliness of the room itself. Upon arriving & settling into the room we noticed that there was sewage water in both sinks in the bathroom & the shower was still wet. Immediately I called guest services & asked for someone to come unclog/clean the sinks, we were told engineering would be there very soon. While waiting almost 30 minutes for engineering to come I noticed the entry had coffee spills on the floor, the tub had some large particles in it and this just led me to believe either the room was never cleaned or someone literally just checked out before we got there, either way is not a good look. I called guest services again from my cell & I was transferred 4 times to get to someone & on hold for about 15min (between the arriving & calls over an hour had passed at this point) so I started walking to the front desk while on hold and halfway over I was hung up on. In the meantime my girlfriend was in the room trying to get someone to respond and running into the same issues. Upon approaching the front desk I asked for a manager I was told it would be 20-30 min to talk to the manager. I was really upset by this & couldn’t understand why I couldn’t just change rooms & they could deal with the raw sewage on their time. Now I have paid for a room I can’t use, I was late for food reservations & I had to wait? Poor service, no immediate refund & the hotel blamed hotels.com for the refund
