BreakFree Aanuka Beach Resort

Second holiday stay here in 4 years and it has gone steeply downhill in all areas over that time. Poorly managed, poorly maintained rooms, broken blinds, leaking spa bath that dripped water into kitchen downstairs, stained sofa, dirty room on arrival, dirty pool, rubbish not removed from pool area, under-staffed and existing staff untrained with very slow & failing service for check-in, breakfast & dinner. Grounds not secure, poor privacy. Management don't care about service and ignore complaints. Accor should put a new management team in with more & better trained staff. Great location is it's only positive attribute at this time. We won't return or recommend it until we hear about a completed re-fit and new management.

Overall everything was okay. We made good use of the tennis courts. The location is great and staff are friendly. The rooms are okay.

Nice resort in a nice and quiet location with a nice beach access. The pool is also quit nice. There is no room service during the stay. So you will need to sort it out yourself! which is weird for this price. Also, TPs are stored in a room but it was always empty so we had to go to reception each time to get TPs. Car park is first come first serve. Coming back at night there was never a spot. We heard other guests argue as well which was not pleasant.

Wonderful Balinese style resort. Fabulous beach and surroundings. Sadly not being looked after by the managers. We used to be able to sit and have a coffee or a drink in the Casey Bar, ( wonderful view of beach 🏖) after 11Am, have lunch everyday from noon & generally relax by adjoining pool or with friends or family. Now with new management, the rules are no lunch at all and drinks from 4pm 😳 Most inhospitable and unresort like ☹️

Stayed with family for 5 nights. We were booked in room 121 (which is about a 10 min walk with three children) they didn't have buggy transport so one of the staff members volunteered to take our luggage in her personal car. It rained the entire stay but it didn't stop the kids from having an awesome time.

Perfect for young families, beach so close, multiple pools, tennis courts. Close to big banana. Will Make this our annual vacation

The pools were great, staff fabulous, clean and tidy

Check in experience was very busy and with a litany of seemingly unnecessary covid sign in requirements (eg wristband for using the pool, multiple health declarations for every individual). The pool also only opens at 9am which is bizarre during spring and summer when it’s hot early in the day.

Amazing pools, great location. Rooms were very dated / run down
