I freaking love this place. I know it's not quite everybody's cup of tea but it was sort of like camp on a lake. Even though it's a hotel. It was just a had a real homey welcoming feel to it

Winter challenge
A lovely little motel that would be perfect if the weather was good. Our stay was cold and rainy, expected for winter. The exterior staircase and hallway were less than convenient with luggage and got slick as weather worsened. Hosts were lovely and very accommodating. Room was clean, cozy and well appointed.

Not for me
The door did not lock the attendant had already left at 10 did not feel safe so I left. The heat was at one level was cold and I put the room keys in the drop box but there is no lock so anyone can take them. I could hear the other customers in my room not sound proof. Overall the attendant was really nice and welcoming.

What a wonderful place! Upon arrival we went into the main office and got our key and within minutes, walked right into the convenient little town for a nice dinner. The room was clean and quiet. The next morning we had a great breakfast and then took a quick train ride right into Boston. We came back to a nice clean room and once again took a short walk into the town for a night cap. Everyone was so friendly and we already looked into booking a room over the summer. Great for a romantic getaway or for a family.

One night stay for some sister time. Room was clean and spacious. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. Cute kitchenette with microwave, kurig coffee maker, refrigerator and freezer. I’ve stayed here many times . Dimensions are better than others . Room 7 , handicap accessible is good . Room 15 this morning is next to the dumpster and at 8 this morning it was emptied . The place can otherwise be noisy , especially if you have a first floor rooms . Convenient parking has its flip side : cars right outside your window. It’s clean and a decent value off season and on weekdays .

Staff gets 5 stars - I wanted to come in a day early and they set me up thankfully and were kind while making the changes. Then upon arrival met with gentleman that was very social and recommended all areas local which we wanted. After traveling for a week it was a nice change! The living space is larger than typical room but small bathroom, fine for us but just letting someone know if they need more counter space don’t expect it. Again, not important to me. SUPER CLEAN AND CONVENIENT to walking/jogging along the beach front. Peaceful place and would recommend. Was able to take ferry and train station into Boston area with ease.
